NOW SOLD Unique Vintage Childs School Chair Modernist Lines

NOW SOLD Unique Vintage Childs chair. This little beauty does need some TLC, but look at the lines. They scream modernist. That double half circle as a brace for the frame just draws the eyes. Personally I love worn patina look of the original paint and would probably just polish it up a bit , but the whole thing could easily be re-painted. The wood seat and back rest are screwed on and could easily be removed for painting. Imagine this chair with a beautiful nicely grained walnut or other wood of your choice for seat and back rest. Probably from the 1940’s or 50’s. It measures 12 ½ inches wide, seat height is 12 inches at the knee, it is 15 inches deep measured off the wall, and it is 23 inches tall at the back. Originally made in Grand Rapids Michigan according to the label (I cant make out the manufacturers name, but it was made in Michigan). Lots of potential here $SOLD
