NOW SOLD 1890’s Cast Iron SAUSAGE Stuffer FRUIT Press Enterprise Manufacturing Philadelphia

NOW SOLD Here is a Circa 1890’s Cast Iron Sausage Press made by the Enterprise Manufacturing Co. of Philadelphia. It can also be used to press fruit and olives ect. This was basically the gold standard for presses back in the day and was used by most butchers and small restaurants to prepare their own sausages and press various fruits for wine and oil. You could buy different accessories for this unit to do various jobs (different press plates and baskets and attachments ect.) A quick look on ebay and you can find for sale just about anything you need for this machine to do different jobs. The press mechanism still work really well and runs smooth. It could benefit from a good oiling and cleaning, all I did was wipe the dust off it. Some people prefer the rustic patina, while other like to go with a full restoration. I leave that up to the buyer. It is missing the two side long bolts, but those can be found at most hardware stores or ordered online. It measures 18 inches tall, and comes with what you see in the pictures (the press and two press plates) It was an expensive machine back in the 1890’s and the heavy casting and quality mechanism has proven the test of time. This would make an amazing display piece in any Restaurant, Butchers Shop or home kitchen.
