THIS IS NOW SOLD Antique GAS STATION / BARN Radial Wave Shade LAMP with BRACKET and CAST IRON POLE Industrial

THIS IS NOW SOLD For sale here is an antique pole lamp featuring a radial wave shade. It was the kind that was often found on the sides of GAS STATION / SERVICE STATION and also BARNS and other INDUSTRIAL buildings. This one clearly served outside for a long while. The poles cast iron surface has just the right kind of pitting and rust that lets you know its age. The radial wave shade also shows its age with different layers of paint and wear that you only get from years of exposure to the elements. The pole does have a makers name on it near where the shade connects to the pole, but I cant quite make out who it is. The whole thing measures roughly 59 inches long, and 25 inches high. The shades measures 18 inches across the diameter. It does have a small hole in the radial shade, and a piece of the pole has broken off where the shade ties into it. Everything else looks pretty solid. If you are looking for the rustic industrial look this is the lamp for you. You cant fake or “distress” this kind of authenticity of surface. This look is only achieve through years of exposure.

1940’s BLUE TOP Beer SIGN Dogs PLAYING POKER Kitchener Brewery POKER SYMPATHY

For sale here is an original Advertising sign for BLUE TOP ALE and BEER. Blue Top was brewed in Kitchener Ontario by the BLUE TOP BREWING Co. from 1937-1952. I don’t have an exact date of this Sign, but I imagine it was sometime in the mid to late 1940’s. It features one of the famous Dogs Playing Pokers series of 16 Paintings that were done during 1894-1910 by Cassius Macellus Coolidge, with the added detail of the “Play Safe Ask For Blue Top Ale or Beer , Union Made” emblem added. This one is entitled POKER SYMPATHY. The sign comes in its original frame and glass which measures 14 5/8 inches by 10 inches. (sorry about the glare on the glass, still not much of a photographer after all these years) I have 3 others signs from this series which I also have up for sale. Please feel free to email me any questions you may have, or if you need any more pictures. $125

NOW SOLD 1970s PAIR Vintage YAMAHA ns-670 Nearfield SPEAKERS Made in JAPAN Studio MONITORS

THESE ARE NOW SOLD For sale is a pair of Yamaha NS-670 3 way Speakers. I am unsure of the exact date they were manufactured, but this model were first made in 1977 and I believe that these are from the 1977-1980 time period. These were considered the gold standard for near field listening at the time and were adopted by many major recording studios world wide, as playback studio monitors. You can hear why this was the case. Clarity and tonal balance without compromising low end. They really do sing. They were made in Japan and imported. Each one has a Hi, and Mid Level tuner on board , so you can customize the sound to match the type of room they are being used in (one of the many reasons they were adopted by studios in the late 70’s and 80’s.) They are also an attractive speaker, in this case finished in a rich teak wood. They have a few scratches, and some wood chips near the bottom end, nothing too bad (I have taken that into account when pricing these). Both Yamaha Speaker grill badges are still attached. They are cosmetically in good vintage condition. These received a 5 out of 5 star rating at hifiengine.com, below are the specs taken from that website. Specifications Type: 3 way, 3 driver loudspeaker system Frequency Response: 40Hz to 20kHz Power Handling: 50W Crossover Frequency: 800, 6000Hz Impedance: 8Ω Sensitivity: 96dB Bass: 1 x 250mm cone Midrange: 1 x 60mm dome Tweeter: 1 x 30mm soft dome Dimensions: 577 x 320 x 269mm
