NOW SOLD Pair of Vintage Labeled Herman Miller Eames DCM Chairs

THESE ARE NOW SOLD Matching pair of DCM chairs designed by Ray and Charles Eames for Herman Miller. These are fairly early production as they have the round Zeeland Michigan Manufacturer badges rather than the later paper labels. It also has inventory labels from the State University of New York who originally owned these chairs at some point in the past. They have some additional screws added to the chairs to help secure the seats and back plates to the frames. This was probably done by the university maintenance person when the backs became loose over time (which often happens to these chairs). Each chair measures 29 ½ inches tall at the back, 17 inches high at the seat/knee, 19 ¼ inches wide and 21 ½ inches deep front to back. The wood does have some spots of discoloration, but over all has taken on that great glow that only comes with age. The legs are sturdy, but could do with a polish (all this taken into account when pricing them). These are icons of American Mid-Century design.
