NOW SOLD Fresh out of storage and for sale here is a vintage Eero Saarinen designed Executive Arm chair, manufactured by Knoll .I purchased several of these chairs a few years ago of the owner who purchased them off of IBM in the late 1980’s (all will be listed individually for sale on this website over the next few days) . Many of these chairs still retain their IBM inventory ID number (this chair does not). Discontinued for several years, Knoll has begun manufacturing them again, and they can be purchased from the Design Within Reach website for over $1500.00 US brand new: http://www.dwr.com/product/saarinen-executive-armchair-metal-boucle.do?sortby=ourPicks . This one is a vintage piece. The Knoll label was removed when this was re-upholstered in 1983 by IBM (other chairs have labels from the re-upholsterer indicating this, but this one does not). The color of the fabric is Beige. As I mentioned this is just out of storage. It needs to be cleaned as it is dirty (perfect if you want to re-upholster it) The fabric has no tears or rips. The foam does have a few spots of stiffening but is still fairly spongy over all . The legs are clean and free from tarnish, but there is one small spot of surface rust on one leg. The feet do have some tarnish and rust on them. I imagine these could be buffed off fairly easily. I have not done anything to clean or alter this chair. This is as I found it. This is a classic Mid Century design and are often featured on the set of Mad Men and many other television shows and movies. This would greatly compliment any Eames Era Mid Century modern living space, or add a slightly retro accent to any contemporary room. NOW SOLD a fantastic Mod Mirror. Geometric shapes and color takes this from being your run of the mill wall mirror to something of a statement art piece. Made by the Stamford Art Company of Toronto sometime in the late 1960’s early 1970’s era, it measures 33 inches by 23 inches. A great design feature of this mirror is the fact that it can be hung in a vertical configuration or horizontal. This screams Modernist. THIS IS NOW SOLD Fresh out of storage and for sale here is a vintage Teak Base and Smoked Glass top Coffee table . The base is a unique design that is functionally solid, and stylishly eye catching. The wood has developed a nice patina that can only come with age and proper care. The round smoked glass top is in nice shape with a few lighter scratched here and there. I imagine most auto glass stores could buff these out if desired. Although there are no manufacturer or Designer marks its clear whoever designed this was clearly influeneced by the Danish Modern Design movement. The top is 35 ½ inches in Diameter and the table stands 16 ½ inches tall. This would pull together any Danish Modern Era / Mid Century modern living space, or add a slightly retro accent to any contemporary room. NOW SOLD

NOW SOLD Fresh out of storage and for sale here is a vintage Eero Saarinen designed Tulip Arm Chair factory upholstered in what I believe to be a Girard designed fabric, manufactured by Knoll . Although you can purchase the Tulip Arm Chair with cushion at Design Within Reach for over $1800 U.S. Dollars http://www.dwr.com/dining-chairs-and-stools/saarinen-tulip-armchair/7224.html?lang=en_US#lang=en_US&start=22 , they no longer manufacture these Upholstered versions . This one features a Knoll Label under the cushion. As I mentioned this is just out of storage. It needs to be cleaned as it is dirty (perfect if you want to re-upholster it) The foam is starting to deteriorate in a few spots, and there is some chipping to the bottom edge of the base. There are no rips or Tears to the fabric, and the swivel mechanism turns smoothly. Over all i would say it presents itself nicely. At my price you could afford to get this completely re-upholstered in any color you wish and get the base touched up at an auto paint shop and still save hundreds and hundreds over buying new. THIS PIECE IS NOW SOLD Here is a Vintage Hudson Bay Blanket made by the Whitnedown Company of Witney England. Witney is famous for being the home of many different Manufactures that provided the Hudson Bay Company with it signature blanket over its long history. THESE ARE NOW SOLD 1960’s Vintage SAMSONITE Saturn Series LUGGAGE with Original Shipping Boxes

THESE ARE NOW SOLD Fresh out of storage here are 4 pieces of Vintage 1960’s Samsonite Luggage from the Saturn Series (named after the Saturn Rocket series of Launches at the time). I am selling the 3 light Blue pieces together as a set. And the Brown Separately. The 3 piece Light Blue Ladies set consist of The Ladies Wardrobe Case, The Ladies “O” Nighter Case and the Ladies Beauty Case. Each has their original shipping boxes which are a rare find on their own, and make great display pieces. I also have a Brown Mens 3 Suiter Case with its original cardboard shipping box. These have been used but not abused. The interiors are in excellent condition, and the exteriors have a scuff or two from use over the years but nothing all that noticeable. Don Draper used the Saturn series on Mad Men. Who doesn’t want to look like Don Draper when they are traveling? No keys but the latches are fully functional and very tight. These were the best of the best at the time. Tough as nails and stylish. What more could you ask for?

NOW SOLD 1940’s-50’s Canada Post Christmas Card Mail Box Canadiana !!!!

NOW SOLD Fresh out of storage here is a fantastic piece of Canadiana. A vintage Canada Post Christmas card Mail Box. Apparently these were place inside each Post Office each year around Christmas initially for Local Delivery of Christmas cards. When it was first put into use it was only 2 Cents for local Delivery of the Christmas Cards. I am no expert but I have spoke to a few who believe that this was more than likely brought into use in the 1940’s-50’s era based on the style and 2 cent price (again this is an educated guess, could be earlier or slightly later). On one side you can see where a 5 cent sticker was later applied as prices went up, and even tape marking where they clearly blocked out the local delivery part and price altogether as prices and service change over the years. It features a fantastic Old Style Crest of Canada on the front, and the iconic bright red paint. It even has two of the hooks indie that the local delivery mail bag would have hung off inside the box It does have some spots of paint loss and a few smaller dings (after all this was in use during the Christmas season and then I imagine thrown back into storage having stuff piled on it, until the next Christmas when it was dragged out again). But over all I think it makes a great display piece that absolutely screams Canadian. It measures 41 inches tall to its peak, and is 18 inches square at its base. I doubt many of these have survived over the years. Don't sleep on this one NOW SOLD
